Tentative Title: The Pros and Cons of GMO's
Target Audience: 7th grade
Curriculum Goals: genetic engineering
Media Literacy Goals: detect bias for GMO's using the slides
Other Goals: modify lessons for middle level students
Proposed Activities: students will choose a side and present their evidence through a video.

Resources/Support that will help you in your development of the APP: We may nbeed to borrow a flip camera or two --
Difficulties/Obstacles to developing your APP: opressure to cover broad swaths of curriculum rather than being given time to go "in depth"
Planning Steps:1. Review "Chemicals" workbook, chapter2; become familiar with DVD materials3. Survey available library materials; prepare list of best websites.4. Create sample video.
